DON'T MAKE WASTE BANDERA
ABOUT OUR PROGRAM
The Story Behind Recycling in Bandera
The recycling program was founded by a group of individuals dedicated to sharing their passion with for conservation with others. Based in Bandera Country, we come from a variety of backgrounds but are enthusiastic about preserving the Texas Hill Country.
In addition to recycling we also support trash cleanup efforts along the roadside and in our community with events and activities taking place year-round. We like to keep up the energy and excitement, always welcoming new members to take part.
Simply put, we love getting together to do what we love - keeping the Texas Hill Country a cherished place for generations to come. But we need both Volunteers and Funding to keep the program going.
Please consider donating either you Time as a Volunteer or Financially so we can continue our efforts in the community. We are a 501c3 nonprofit and donations are tax deductible.

WEEKLY MEETUPS
Volunteer, Learn, Grow
Our Volunteer Meetup on Saturday's from 9am to 3pm at the recycling facility near Mansfield Park just before you reach the BEC offices on HWY 16.
We look forward adding dedicated NEW members to our program. It is always a good feeling to be able to share your interests with others, and this is one of the most rewarding ways to do so while helping the community and the environment.
RECYCLING MOBILE
Taking Recycling to You!
Currently making rounds on Saturdays in Lakehills, the Recycling Mobile funded through grants from HEB and Keep Texas Beautiful allows us to go on the road to other areas where we do not have a fixed collection facility. As we can more Volunteers we can look into other locations and events for collection. This is a tremendous WIN for recycling in Bandera County.
